Sally Bickerton

Sally admitted to Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia in 2009. She completed her Bachelor of Laws through Deakin University. Prior to qualifying in law Sally had worked as a social worker and TAFE teacher having completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work at University of Melbourne.

Since commencing work with Taylor and Whitty Solicitors she has worked in and developed expertise in many areas of law. Sally will assist you in the sale or purchase of your family home, investment property, farm or business. She can also prepare and advise on rural, commercial and residential leases.

Sally works in the area of probate and administration acting for and advising executors as well as those family members who may not have been made provision for in the will of the deceased. She will assist you in your estate planning and succession planning ensuring a smooth transfer of property and business assets.

She can provide advice on the appointment of substitute decision makers such as powers of attorney and medical treatment decision makers and prepare the appropriate documents to formalize the appointment.

In the area of family law she assists clients to reach resolution following relationship breakdown regarding both property division and children’s issues. Sally helps her clients to negotiate agreement where possible and will represent them in the Federal Circuit Family Court of Australia if litigation is required.

She provides representing to individuals in local court criminal and civil proceedings.  

She will listen to you and provide advice and assistance to best meet your particular situation aiming to reach a resolution for you promptly and cost effectively.
